Newtrouble fabricates and installs metal gates for homeowners and businesses across Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and the surrounding Charleston County communities. We build driveway and entry gates, wrought iron and ornamental gates, security and access-control systems, pedestrian gates, and automatic operators, and we do the welding, the post setting, and the wiring in-house rather than farming pieces out to three different vendors.

The coast is hard on metal. Salt air off the harbor rusts a cheap gate in a few seasons, which is why we start with galvanized posts, coat every frame with a zinc-rich primer, and finish it in powder coat instead of brushed paint. It is a little more work up front, and it is the reason our gates near Rifle Range Road still swing clean years after the install.

What Sets Us Apart

• In-house fabrication. We MIG and TIG weld each frame ourselves, so the picket spacing and finish match across the whole gate.
• Wired to code. Operators, photo-eyes, and reversing edges are set to UL 325 and ASTM F2200 entrapment zones.
• Built for the salt air. Galvanized steel, rust-inhibiting primer, and powder coat stand up to coastal humidity.
